In Transcarpathia, the first harvest of lavender was harvested. Photos of the harvest were published on the Internet by the professor of Uzhgorod National University Fedor Shandor.
It is reported that, in addition to lavender, here you can see 1 hectare of essential rose and 1 hectare of hazelnuts, which were specially planted for the essential oil industry in the production of perfumes.
Earlier it was reported that lavender fields in Ukraine already exist near Kiev and in the Kherson region. Lavender field in the Kiev region occupies 80 acres of soil. O-Lawander Eco-Farm was founded by a married couple of farmers. In addition to lavender, entrepreneurs grow organic strawberries and blackberries.
The spouses of Mostepanyuki invested about $ 8 thousand in farming. The largest funds were needed for planting plants. The plans of young farmers are to convert lavender plantations into an eco-park and rent them out hourly for paid photo sessions.
Entrepreneurs are planning to expand the existing planting areas by another 15-20 acres and set up another eco-park. And in the Chernivtsi region, for planting tulips and other flowers, areas were allocated on the territory of two settlements in the Kitsmansky district.
