In the next five years, the Russian Federation intends to reach such a grain export volume that will ensure a turnover of eleven billion US dollars.
Such far-reaching and bold plans were shared by the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the country Dmitry Patrushev.
In the framework of the meeting with Dmitry Medvedev, who heads the government of the Russian Federation, the head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture announced the stages of stimulating the export agricultural potential of the state.
So, according to Dmitry Patrushev, Russian agricultural producers managed at one time to bring the country to the world leaders in wheat exports. Russia holds this title for several years.
The available information suggests that reaching a turnover of eleven billion US dollars by 2024 is a task that is quite feasible for domestic grain producers.
It will not be superfluous to note that the plans of agrarians of the Russian Federation for the next five years include not only an increase in export turnover, but, first of all, an increase in the gross cereal harvest by at least twenty-eight percent until 2024 inclusive.
