Leading agrarians of the Tomsk region will soon become owners of serious sums of money.

Financial assistance to Tomsk agrarians will come from the federal budget and will total about sixty million rubles. Such information was shared by the press service of the Tomsk Regional Administration.

It is known that this year, as part of the national projects “Beginner Farmer” and “Family Livestock Production”, twenty-three farmers in the region submitted applications for a state grant. Only ten young agricultural entrepreneurs and one family having their own farm passed the competition.

As a result, all participants in the program will receive grants, the total amount of which, based on estimates by experts of the Ministry of Agriculture, will be fifty-nine million seven hundred thousand rubles.

It will not be superfluous to note that the seven lucky ones who will be awarded the state grant are involved in livestock production focused on the production of meat, and three more are engaged in the manufacture of dairy products on their own farms.

All of them will divide among themselves twenty nine million seven hundred and one thousand rubles. The rest will go to the needs of the family farm.
