Penza representatives of agriculture have a significant reason for pride - as of June 1, 2019, they were able to produce and market more than one hundred forty-two thousand tons of livestock and poultry.

For clarity, it should be noted that in the first five months of 2018, agricultural producers in the same region sent for sale twenty-five and a half percent of similar products less than this year.

According to representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Penza Region in the framework of the report on the achievements of local representatives of the agro-industrial complex, workers in the milk processing industry of the region also achieved considerable success.

So, in the period from January to May (inclusive) of this year, they managed to milk more than sixty eight thousand tons of milk. Today, one cow gives an average of eight percent more milk than in the same period in 2018.

As for the achievements in the poultry industry, it is important to note the successes of the egg production employees and their winged wards.

Under the vigilant supervision of qualified specialists, Penza layers released thousands of eggs to the market, given that the egg production of one chicken averaged one hundred and two eggs in the first five months of this year.

A year earlier, this figure was two percent lower, according to statistics experts at the Ministry of Agriculture.
