Russian cuisine has every chance that in the near future gastronomic ambassadors of favorite Russian delicacies will start working in different parts of the world. This was reported by representatives of the Association of gastronomic tourism, who took the initiative to create a post "gastroposol".
The responsibilities of such ambassadors will include the implementation of interesting and diverse tasks. Firstly, ambassadors will take an active part in events around the world. The main purpose of which is to popularize the principles and characteristics of Russian cuisine in different countries and cultures. In addition, ambassadors will actively contribute to the development of Russian gastrotourism.
Another important task of the gastrologist is to keep abreast of the development of Russian cuisine. Actively collaborate with eminent chefs, contribute to the development of young talents in the field of haute cuisine and introduce favorite dishes to Russians in the diet of foreigners.
Among the candidates for an honorary position, gastropologists note such famous movie actors as Mila Jovovich, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Natalia Oreiro and Gerard Depardieu. All of them, as well as other contenders for the title of ambassador (supermodel Natalia Vodianova, director Emir Kusturica and athlete Anna Kournikova) are well-known connoisseurs of Russian cuisine and its rich history.
