This year, the yield of pine nuts in the Siberian open spaces stood out unusually low. Experts do not exclude that in connection with the current situation a shortage of this product may form on the Russian market.
Such information was shared by Sholban Kara-ool, who heads the administration of the Republic of Tuva. In addition, the head of the region emphasized that, unlike Siberia, in the open spaces of Tuva, the pine nuts yield was generous.
Many factors contributed to this, among which are the sparing weather conditions of this summer. Therefore, soon pickers of nuts will appear on Tuva taiga lands.
This will give a chance not only to supply the market with cedar products, but also allow the residents of the republic to earn money. Sholban Kara-ool announced this in a publication on his profile of one of the social networks.
It is also important to add that, according to Sholban Kara-ool, the administrations of the districts of Tuva should show maximum participation and carefully organize the massive collection of pine nuts.
Citizens wishing to take part in the harvesting campaign should receive maximum assistance from the authorities of the republic.
We should especially consider the process of delivering to the forest those pickers who cannot get to the taiga on their own, but do not mind spending time pleasantly and rewarding with their whole family in the fresh air.
