Last month, July 2019, the Russian Federation sent twenty-four thousand four hundred tons of white sugar to the foreign market.
Such information was shared by representatives of the public relations department of the Rossahar Association, relying on data provided by customs and railway services.
It is noteworthy that the current figures are more than eight percent higher than the volumes of export shipments of sugar in June 2019. It will not be amiss to note that a year earlier, following the results of July 2018, Russian sugar producers sent twenty six and a half percent less products to world trading floors.
In addition, the association emphasized that the main export direction of white sugar from the Russian Federation is the market of Kazakhstan. About twenty one thousand eight hundred tons of product were sent there.
Russian sugar went in considerable quantities and to Kyrgyzstan - one thousand three hundred tons was shipped to local buyers. Five hundred and four thousand tons of white Russian sugar went to Tajikistan during the reporting period, representatives of the association note.
