In the very near future, winemakers of the Russian Federation will be provided with generous subsidies. Such information was shared by representatives of the public relations department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, the department reports that members of the State Duma agreed in the third reading a bill regarding support for employees of the grape industry and wine producers.

The subsidies, which were approved by the State Duma, compensate wine growers and winemakers for professional expenses, as well as brighten their chagrin due to lost profits from growing, processing and marketing of grapes this year.

It is important to emphasize that support will be provided to manufacturers of all types of industry products. And the list of exceptions will not even include liquors, sparkling wines, dry and semi-dry, sweet and semi-sweet wines, as well as wine materials.

It is noteworthy that both individual entrepreneurs and individuals and entire companies can rely on subsidies from the state. In accordance with the adopted bill, starting in 2020, amendments will be made to both the Budget and Tax Codes of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the territory for growing grapes will be significantly expanded, the number of cultivated varieties will increase. All this, experts are sure, will help bring domestic winemaking and the quality of Russian wines to a whole new level.
