Inspired by the achievements of Western developers in the agricultural sector, Russian researchers at the Sensorika center, which is engaged in developments in the field of electronic technology, dared to make a real agricultural breakthrough.
Working at the Institute of Electronic Technology in Moscow, scientists have developed extraordinary equipment for Russian agriculture in general and livestock in particular.
“This is a special device that we plan to introduce into the stomach of cows,” the developers share their secrets. - It is planned that this miniature sensor, which will be located inside the animals, will receive and store information about the state of the cow, about how much feed and water it consumed in a given period of time, how high the quality of milk obtained from such a cow can be, and what volumes of the product can be discussed. In addition, the sensor will help us determine the temperature of the animal and the readiness of a particular cow for fertilization. "

The method of introducing the sensor into the animal is as humane and painless as possible. A special mechanical applicator will allow the zootechnician to introduce a capsule with a chip into the scar - part of the cow's stomach. The weight of the cylindrical capsule is about two hundred grams, and the length is not more than ten centimeters.
“The cow will not be able to get rid of the sensor in a natural way, since the capsule is in the rumen,” the equipment developers say. “However, the chip will not cause animal discomfort and is intended to be inside the cow for the rest of its life.”
