On Wednesday, February 26, the 23rd Agroindustrial Forum of the South of Russia began to work at DonExpoCenter. It includes Exhibition "Interagromash" and "Agrotechnology"that are collected annually more than 9,000 visitors. The project is supported by Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov Region and is one of the most ambitious venues in Russia for the demonstration of machinery, equipment and materials for agricultural production.

The Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev thanked all the farmers for their good productive work, wished them a successful and fruitful year, and also noted:

- For the 23rd time, we are opening the Agro-Industrial Forum of the South of Russia, which is the best place where you can share experience, new products, and discuss joint work. The number of Forum participants is constantly growing. As well as growing one of the main sectors of the economy of the region - agriculture and crop production. This means that the villagers are looking for new technologies, using scientific developments, interacting with scientists on issues of agricultural science, thus solving the fundamental tasks of ensuring the food security of our country.

- This year is special for our peasants. Over the past 5 years, we have received excellent results, especially in crop production. And here at the Forum we can see with our own eyes modern developments in technology that we need in order to receive high-quality, environmentally friendly products for our population. Having implemented everything that advanced science offers, the latest experience, we can achieve even greater results, - said Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region Vyacheslav Vasilenko.

“The agricultural forum of the south of Russia is a platform that annually gathers a huge number of agricultural production professionals and allows them to exchange last year’s results and share plans for the current year,” he added. General Director of Rosagroleasing JSC Pavel Kosov.

In addition, February 27 will work presentation zone “Solutions and technologies for agricultural producers”.

And on the first day, the show “The Strongman and the Tractor 2020” was waiting for visitors. The founder of the Power Show Yuri Alekhine and the extreme show The Hard Case, Yuri Alekhine, fought with a 6.5-ton heavyweight, the New Holland T6050 tractor, namely, he pulled it over 4 meters. The task facing Yuri was really ambitious: the feature of the tractor is that it does not have a freewheel. Therefore, if, for example, when towing trains or trucks, the strongmen tear them away, and then they move by inertia on a roll, a tractor is a completely different matter. By inertia, he is not able to roll. Therefore, each time Yuri literally had to tear the tractor from its place again and again. And he successfully coped with the goal! And intends to break this record as early as June 4 in the framework of the exhibition-demonstration “Don Field Day”.
