Roskachestvo experts thoroughly checked about 50 brands that produce dumplings in the middle price segment on the domestic market. Favorite Russian semi-finished products were checked in accordance with a special state-standard scale, which helps to evaluate products according to 88 safety and quality indicators.

The result was almost deplorable: as a result of the audit, we can safely say that not one of the 48 manufacturers has the right to claim the mark “Quality Mark”.

The fact is that in several samples that fell under the microscope of Roskachestvo employees, Escherichia coli was detected. In more than 15 samples, experts found serious deviations from standard microbiological quality indicators. Many dumplings are literally teeming with far from useful bacteria.

Traces of the use of antibiotics in some types of meat filling were found in the products of two brands popular among Russians. In some samples, experts of the Roskachestvo found such types of meat that are not declared on the packaging as part of semi-finished products. One of the samples contained cartilage in the filling.

It should be noted that for all of the above, no GMOs, salmonella, heavy metals and listeria were found in the studied dumplings. No preservatives or excess polyphosphates were found.

According to Roskachestvo employees, the following items can be called the highest quality of all the abundance of dumplings in the middle price category on the Russian market: “Siberian Collection”, “Dymov”, “Caesar”, “Ostankino. Dad can ”,“ Ermolino ”,“ Miratorg ”,“ VkusVill ”,“ Atyashevo ”,“ Dobrynin ”and“ Ural dumplings ”.
