Goods made by the forces of vegetable growers, gardeners, livestock breeders and landowners of the Irkutsk region will very soon appear on the shelves of a new trading network of social significance.

On the shelves of stores of this network, consumers in the region will be able to purchase products from local manufacturers at affordable prices without the risk of losing food quality.

The initiative to create such a trading network belongs to the head of the administration of the Irkutsk region, Sergey Levchenko, who set the corresponding task for officials of the region entrusted to him. With a request to develop a scheme and strategy for the operation of the new network of social significance, Levchenko turned to members of the regional government as part of the annual Legislative Assembly, which was held in Irkutsk on April 10, 2019.

According to the press service of the administration of the Irkutsk region, the development of all the nuances of the new trading network with affordable locally produced goods will begin in the very near future. And the start of the stores is scheduled for the end of the year, albeit in a pilot mode of operation.

It will not be superfluous to note that the creation of such a distribution network will be implemented as part of an anti-inflation campaign in the Irkutsk region. The goal of this project is to provide residents of the region with affordable high-quality local products.

The governor of the region proposed his own version of the name of a new chain of stores. According to Sergey Levchenko, it is quite advisable to combine social trading platforms under one name - “Products of the Angara area”.
