Yaroslavl greenhouse complex began harvesting. Residents of the region will soon have access to fresh tomatoes and cucumbers grown in the country, as well as potted flowers.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, last year, in connection with the completion of the investment project, the fourth phase of a 7-hectare greenhouse was launched. This has created hundreds of jobs.
A Japanese farmer from the city of Kashiwa constructed a greenhouse in which lettuce productivity increased 100 times.
In addition to vegetables, the company has been growing roses for two years. The corresponding investment project was transferred to an area of 1.6 hectares. Investments amounted to 7 million euros.
At the end of last year, the greenhouse production of vegetables reached 8.8 thousand tons. The company also produced more than 2 million potted plants.
This year, LLC “Greenhouse complex Yaroslavsky” plans to grow more than 14 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables. Over the past months, they collected 11 thousand tons of cucumbers and almost 2.5 thousand tons of tomatoes.
The company's products are in great demand among consumers of the Central Federal District. The greenhouse complex entered into supply contracts with federal retail chains, as well as with wholesalers in the Yaroslavl, Moscow, Ivanovo and Vladimir regions.
