Alexander Dmitruk from the village of Kletishche, Chernyakhovsky district of the Zhytomyr region made a seeder with his own hands. In his work, he is guided by the technology of Ivan Ovsinsky and does not use traditional mechanisms.
The farmer is inspired by the principle: simple, reliable, efficient. And all his equipment is simple, reliable and efficient. With its help, you can sow and process crops. This seeder can give an impetus to the development of small farming in Ukraine, says the agrarian.
Alexander began his farming activities using classical technology and suffered huge losses. Then he decided for himself that it was better not to work than traditionally, and spent the whole year in thought. Once he visited an exhibition in the Vinnitsa region, where he saw a self-made seeder and got acquainted with the technology of Ivan Ovsinsky, recalls Alexander Dmitruk.
The farmer realized that the Ovsinsky technology is what he needs and began to apply it in his work. Traditional farming is detrimental to the soil. In its upper and lower layers live bacteria and microorganisms that affect crop yields. When during normal plowing these layers are mixed together, they die and then you have to make mineral fertilizers. Dmitruk does not use such fertilizers in his household and does not advise anyone. The Ovsinsky seeder plows the soil at a depth of 5-7 cm, and the grain is sown with wide spacing, the farmer explains. Alexander Dmitruk began to do seeders three years ago. Now they are already 6 units. The farmer has a lot of like-minded people and he created a YouTube channel where he talks about his work.
