In the city of Baymak, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the grand opening of the agricultural consumer cooperative "Igen-Tau" took place. The ceremony was held in the presence of the deputy minister of agriculture of the republic, Irik Surakov, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus said.
The creation of this agricultural cooperative was made possible thanks to the program of Bashkortostan to open similar cooperatives based on projects of citizens who generate income.
Initiative local residents of Baymak received a grant in the amount of about 3 million rubles, for which they procured processing equipment. Currently, the cooperative covers 39 shareholders.
The Republic of Bashkortostan produces 3.2% of all agricultural products in Russia.
The company produces 7 types of meat delicacies prepared according to Bashkir recipes. It is planned to additionally open 6 new jobs.
By the way, the program for supporting projects of citizens who generate income has been operating in the republic since 2018.
With its help, 3 million of the state support funds goes to support initiative groups of the population who want to open an agricultural cooperative. During 2 seasons in Bashkortostan, thanks to this program, 230 agricultural cooperatives were created.
