According to experts, in 2019, the apple crop in the Kherson region will be less than in the past, the deputy director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andrey Nedelko said.

The official is of the opinion that this year, gardeners will not be able to get an apple crop at the level of last year, when 123 c / ha were harvested. Apple trees this year will regain strength after the record fertility of 2018.

Preliminary forecasts regarding the sweet cherry harvest 2019 spoke of its large volumes. Experts announced this, bearing in mind the favorable weather conditions of winter. The rainbow hopes of experts greatly spoiled frosts and downpours during the ubiquitous flowering of cherries.

Now, gardeners do not expect a large harvest from their trees. Cherries and cherries will have yields below average, Nedelko said.

On the territory of the Kherson region, 7800 hectares of fruit trees at the age of fruiting are now grown. 3.9 thousand of them are feed. The largest area in the region is reserved for apple trees - 2.7 thousand hectares. Sweet cherry grows in land of 1 thousand hectares.
