In the period from January to June (inclusive) 2019, producers of the Kamchatka Territory sent over sixteen thousand tons of fish products to the foreign market.
It is reported that this product was exported frozen. Such information was shared by representatives of the public relations department of the Main Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor in the Kamchatka Territory.
The ministry also emphasized that the main buyers of Kamchatka fish products are the EU countries, as well as Japan, the People's Republic of China and Korea.
It will not be superfluous to note that the main producers of fish food for export in the Kamchatka expanses are employees of fishing companies that carry out their fishing on the waters of the Bering Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk.
It is noteworthy that countries purchasing frozen fish from Kamchatka producers are completely satisfied with the quality of the goods and emphasize that the products fully comply with their sanitary and veterinary requirements.
In turn, representatives of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Kamchatka Territory and the Chukotka District note that in the first six months of this year, over five hundred units of vehicles exporting frozen fish were inspected.
Including were subjected to inspection and sea vessels. The result of the checks turned out to be successful - the fish is sent to foreign buyers in favorable sanitary conditions for this type of provision.
