The record crop of grain crops, which is already being discussed today, is predicted by experts in Ukraine. This is what Alexander Krivoruchko, the head of the Association of Carriage Owners, writes on his page on Facebook.

Alexander Krivoruchko reports that according to all forecasts, Ukraine this year will collect a very large crop of grain crops. Everything would be fine, but there would be nothing to take him out. During the harvest, the sore spot of Ukraine’s logistics is Odessa ports and rail links.

At the same time, there was an increase in the transportation of building materials, such as crushed stone, as well as an increase in export supplies of iron ore. As for the Black Sea ports, they are loaded with coal supplies for the country's metallurgy and energy. Odessa railway, taking over the baton of ports, will also be busy with its transportation, the expert said.

As noted by Krivoruchko, such a situation could adversely affect the Ukrainian economy. He calls on the authorities to think in advance about resolving this issue in order to prevent transport collapse.

In addition, he turned to Ukrzaliznytsya, recalling that she was a state monopolist, called to protect the economic interests of Ukraine.

First of all, the railway should serve the internal needs of the country and Ukrainian carriers, and collapse should not be allowed, Krivoruchko summarizes.
