LLC “Idna” (Rivne region) is the only company in Ukraine that completely recycles waste from its own sausage production.
This was told by the director general of "Idna" Vladimir Golub.
“We do not recycle the remains of animals and birds, but process them into feed for poultry and animals,” he explained. - To prepare such a feed, mix 30% of the biological residues with 70% ground wheat. The mixture is driven through an extruder at a temperature of 120 ° C. "
In this way, bacteria are destroyed, but the protein remains alive, said Vladimir Golub.
For information, the Idna farm has a closed production cycle. It grows wheat, corn, sugar beets on an area of 1.5 thousand hectares. Contains 500 thousand hens, 5 thousand heads of pigs, 700 heads of dairy cows, 160 heads of sheep.
The company has a feed mill with a capacity of 10 tons per hour, its own slaughterhouse, development workshops, sausage shops, a cannery. They are engaged in the manufacture of stews and sausages.
The grain used for feeding animals is grown on large agricultural plantations, after which it is sent for processing, which takes place at the company's own feed mill.
