On agricultural land in the Moscow region, agrarians began to harvest greenery and lettuce crops grown in open ground.
And now local products are massively appearing on the market and on the shelves of supermarkets and grocery stores in the capital and the Moscow Region: spinach, rhubarb, dill, sorrel, arugula, parsley and other crops that are in high demand among consumers in the region.
Based on the active sales rate of local greens, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region intend to increase the area for growing salad crops and greens.
And according to the results of the current season, farmers intend to collect at least five thousand tons of the specified products obtained as a result of growing on open ground.
It will not be superfluous to note that the largest producers and suppliers of greens and salads to the capital market are enterprises such as Dmitrovsky Vegetables and GreenSalat Agro.
For example, representatives of the first company have already managed to get hundreds of kilograms of products from one hundred and ten hectares. By the end of the year, Dmitrov green growers intend to collect more than seventy tons of lettuce of different varieties.
As for GreenSalat Agro, its specialists will start harvesting greens and salads a little later than their colleagues from Dmitrov and, as a result of the harvesting campaign, intend to get over one and a half tons of products.
