The beginning of 2019 was marked by a significant event for the farmers of Stavropol - in the territory of the region, an ultramodern storage for vegetables and fruits was opened with the ability to subject the fruits to primary processing.
The facility is impressive in its capacity - about 7 thousand tons of farm products can be stored in the storage premises, processing up to five hundred tons of crops daily.
About one billion rubles and more than one and a half years of intensive work were spent on the construction of the storage facility. As a result, the Stavropol Territory received a modern vegetable hub, and about a hundred residents of the region got jobs. The administration of the Ipatovo district, where the storehouse is located, assures that at the height of the harvest season the number of employees will increase at least twice.
In a year, state investors intend to build a second similar hub, the estimated capacity of which will be about 16 thousand tons.
