Mark Sarnowski of Swindon spent three decades trying to surpass his father's 63-pound vegetable, Henry Sarnowski, who was so big that he got the media attention in 1989.
Now the farmer was able to make a version of an orange the size of a monster weighing 84 pounds. Direct speech: “We have always been a gardening family. Initially, my dad, mom and aunt dealt with the challenge. Since my mother had two hip operations, she had to drop out of school and then my aunt passed away. My father continued to walk until he was 90 years old, that was just four years ago, ”Sarnovsky said.
Mexico is considered to be the birthplace of pumpkin, as scientists found its seeds on its territory. Their age was approximately 7000 years.
He began growing a giant pumpkin as a seed in his house, and then moved it to the family plot, where he took care of it with the help of his father.
The gardener showed that he needs to use about 4 watering cans every day for the pumpkin, and believes that if he did not remove it, it would continue to grow. Sarnovsky added that his mother created a recipe for this vegetable so that the product is not wasted. Direct speech: “My mother came up with an excellent recipe for soup. With pumpkin, potatoes, onions and tomatoes, it goes well with garlic bread. Really delicious warming soup for cold weather, ”he said.
Family distribution plans are not limited to a giant pumpkin crop or the end of Halloween, or to Sarnovsky showing that they have a lot to do during the winter to provide their other crops. “This needs to be dug up and put in order. Lots of jobs to support me. My dad gives me some tips on what to do. ”
