One of the leading producers of poultry products in Ukraine, the Dneprovskaya agro-industrial group will receive loan funds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the amount of EUR 20 million (in two tranches of EUR 10 million) for reconstruction and expansion of the slaughterhouse.
According to the information posted on the bank's website, the project cost is 33.8 million euros. 23.8 million euros of which will be invested during 2019-2020, another 10 million euros in 2020-2021.
According to the bank, this investment will allow the company to go through the necessary certification procedure in order to enter the EU markets.
Recall that at the beginning of 2018, the bank already allocated $ 5 million to the Dniprovskaya group for the construction of a biogas plant. At the same time, the total project cost was equal to 5.85 million dollars.
In the first months of 2018, the company completed the construction of the first phase of the “Biofuel-based Energy Complex”. The plans - the implementation of the second stage. In a biogas complex, bird droppings burn out along with litter from sunflower husk.
