Agrofirm “Bazis” from the village of Kochubeyevka, Cherkasy region produces fuel briquettes from wet straw.
The Bazis farm is located on the lands of the village of Kochubeyevka in the Uman district of Cherkasy region. The company owns a full cycle for the production of wet straw briquettes. Fuel briquettes are produced on Polish equipment of the Asket company. Raw materials for production are straw of spring, winter and leguminous crops.
Great prospects for both their own private farming and for Ukraine as a whole are seen in the use of straw biofuel from the head of the company, Vladimir Osadchiy.For information, the agricultural company "Basis" is engaged in crop production, livestock and social support. The farm cultivates such crops: wheat, corn for grain, oats, barley, peas, buckwheat, soy, sunflower, rapeseed and sugar beets.
The livestock business covers the cultivation of cattle, pigs and sheep. Bazis is actively supporting the social sphere in villages where it leases land shares of peasants. The company is reconstructing schools and kindergartens, provides comprehensive support for the development of sports, building sports halls and stadiums in the countryside.
