For the first time in seven years, Russian experts have identified first-class wheat on domestic fields. We are talking about a grain crop that has grown on the agricultural land of the Crimean peninsula.
Based on the data that the Center’s grain quality assessment shared with the public, since 2012 no first-class wheat grains have been recorded in the Russian Federation.
However, 2019 was a breakthrough year - almost thirty-seven percent of raw gluten was found in Crimean cereals as part of laboratory studies. As for the mass fraction of protein, it makes up over eighteen percent in a unique grain.
The number of falls is five hundred and sixteen seconds, and the rate of nature is seven hundred seventy-seven grams per liter. The glassy factor is sixty-two percent.
It should be noted that seven years ago almost the same characteristics were recorded for a wheat crop in the vast Orenburg region. Then the volume of the batch of grain of the first class amounted to seven hundred tons.
According to the Center for Grain Quality Control, today the quality of Russian wheat is significantly higher than in previous years. The percentage of the third class of grain in the total mass of the crop is growing.
The volume indicators of the grains of the second class slightly increase. And finally, the long-awaited first class was revealed, which cannot but rejoice both industry experts and manufacturers, distributors and purchasers.
