Rosselkhoznadzor employees working in the seaport of Novorossiysk did not let a dangerous garden pest enter the market of the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea. We are talking about a fruitful polyphagous fly-humpback, which could penetrate into the Russian Federation along with cargo from Turkey.
Turks brought grenades to Russia. And they did not take into account that, together with bright red fruits, they also import a quarantine pest. The presence of a humpback fly among Turkish fruits was also confirmed in the Novorossiysk branch of the All-Russian Center for Plant Quarantine.
It should be noted that this case of import of organisms dangerous for farming together with pomegranates from Turkey is the first in many years. To prevent a potentially dangerous fly from entering Russian fields and destroying the harvest of various crops, the Rosselkhoznadzor specialists sent imported grenades along with winged uninvited guests back to Turkey.
